Plant Basil 12 Inches From Every Tomato

Basil produces linalool and eugenol — volatile compounds that physically mask the tomato's scent from aphids and whiteflies navigating by smell. Studies confirm 30 to 50% reduction in whitefly populations. It also measurably improves tomato fruit flavor through volatile compound exchange.

Never Plant Potatoes Near Tomatoes. Ever.
